Tamar Entertainment Incorporated was founded in 2001 by two minority women with a desire to address the social and psychological issues facing women today. It is our desire to help not only women but young people not only to look at their own personal situations, but also universal situations and emotional strongholds. We know for certain that an individual when given the tools to protect and foster supportive and safe environments for themselves and their families can make positive contributions to their communities.
The wheels were set into motion for this company more than seven years ago, but the actual seeds for this vision were planted over twenty years ago with a young single mother of three small children struggling to overcome the social barriers and stigmas. Many obstacles and distractions have confronted us, in our effort to bring this vision into fruition and to share the knowledge of our experiences. We believe that our company can universally address many of the needs of society.
