This vibrant company offers dance terminology and technique in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Praise, African and tap. Most importantly students learn about the pioneers of dance, those women and men who paved the way and left a legacy behind.

KDC classes will heighten individual self-confidence while interacting with fellow dancers and increase self expression through the freedom of movement.  Young dancers will become familiar with choreography, various dance styles, and the importance of constructive criticism.

The overall mission is to boost self-esteem, increase knowledge and introduce them to the art of dance and all that it has to offer. Special guests are invited to perform and speak about dance on a professional level.

Students will leave with a new respect for DANCE.!!

Focus:

Offer youth the opportunity to express freedom of movement while embracing the true art form of dance by:

* Dance terminology education; Preparation for constructive criticism concerning their craft.

*Familiarizing students with ballet, modern-jazz, tap, and praise dancing with an emphasis on freestyle.

*Learning how to choose quality music in order to enhance the performance

*Reviving and focusing on clean, classy, movements that will not degrade the dancer as a person or artist.

*Building self-esteem through dance while using full movement to promote self awareness and being comfortable in their own skin.

FOUNDER

Crystal Stone, Founder of Krisstylz & Choreographer,

A thirty two year old native of Bay City, Texas found her appreciation for the Arts in her high school dance and drama department.  She studied drama and dance at Prairie View A&M University under the instruction of Clarence Lee Turner (C.Lee). Here she was molded and shaped for life.  She believes if one person is helped, her work is not in vain.  Her life’s mission is dedicated to paying it forward.
She is convinced that there is FREEDOM in dance, and wants to share that knowledge!

Also, the owner of C. Stone Management &  Vice President of Phat Barz Records & Multimedia, she co-wrote two songs that debut on the November 2008 release of Troy Barnett's album "I'm Not Him"...

"So Mysterious" and "You Chose Me"

She is the choreographer and assistant director, as well as an actress in Mary Terry Wiley's New Soul Opera, "For Your Soul's Sake". She is presented on the cover of the "For Your Soul's Sake" album. This is a Broadway style touring production that leaves women feeling fully endowed and men leave with the answers to questions they have always wanted to ask!
